Surveying at B&N

Last night our surveying group discussed several methods of surveying. These included using traditional robots, GPS units and aerial photography.

The students went outside with the surveyors and collected survey data (parking lot, curbs, manholes, etc.). This data was then downloaded into the computer and plotted in AutoCAD.

Most of the discussion involved GPS satellites. Here are a couple of links relating to the information presented last night.
