Water Rocket Launch - April 24th

For the next Exploring meeting that will be held at Burgess & Niple on April 24th, we will be launching water bottle rockets. Each student will need to construct their own rocket prior to the meeting using the following guidelines.

1. Construct the bottle rocket using a standard 2-liter pop bottle
2. Attach anything you think will make it fly further like wings, a cone, etc.
3. Do not attach anything metal or sharp to ensure a safe landing
4. Do not poke any holes in the bottle or neck
5. Do not attach anything to the neck of the bottle for a safe launch

Feel free to make any additions to the rockets, but make sure you follow the five requirements above. The Water Rocket Index website has some good material to refer to.
