December Meeting
The December Exploring Post will take place on December 11th and will be a Holiday Party in the Physics Research Building atrium. The agenda is listed below.
· 6:15-6:30 Meet at the Ag Engr as usual (Food served on main campus this time)
· 6:30 -- Board campus bus to the Physics Research building on 191 W. Woodruff Ave.
· 6:40-8:20 – Party hosted by Sigma Pi Sigma, a Physics Honors Society (yes, Engineers need to know Physics, too!)
· 8:20 – Help cleanup and then board bus back to Ag Engr building.
· 8:30 – Arrive at Ag Engr building.
Volunteers from Sigma Pi Sigma will bring “demonstration toys” for students to work with, plus a few extra demonstrations that they will handle – like making plasma in a microwave!! We will also have DVDs such as an episode from the Design Squad.
In keeping with the holiday spirit, if you able to bring a box of cake mix and a can of frosting, we will see that these are donated to the local office for Neighborhood Services, Inc., serving the needy in the University community.
